On October 3, Ammo Alley Sporting Center and Training Academy in Hartsburg, Missouri hosted an introduction to competitive shooting class they call “Gun Fun.” The shooting discipline explored in this particular class was NRA Action Pistol. The folks at Ammo Alley are committed to teaching prospective competitors how to use firearms safely and effectively at their indoor shooting range.
One of the most coveted certificates a competitive shooter can earn is a NRA National Record. A National Record signifies that a competitor has performed at a level never reached by others. The significance of the National Record is validated by none other than the NRA Secretary.

The Precision Rifle Series was created in 2012 to further the popularity of long-range shooting through a series of competitions held throughout the country. In the following years, PRS grew its base of semi-pro and pro shooters which encourage the development of a club-level approach to the competition, encourage new members and build a larger list of participating clubs.
