On September 23-25, the NRA National Police Shooting Championships will be at the Mississippi Highway Patrol range in Pearl, Mississippi.

This year in Mississippi, Vadasz finished the championship 26 points higher in the X-count than any other competitor.

In 2007, Capt. Phillip Hemphill of the Mississippi Highway Patrol took his ninth title in his final appearance as a competitor at the NRA National Police Shooting Championships.

Both events were scheduled to be held this September in West Virginia and Mississippi, respectively.
