NRA World Shooting Championship officials will evaluate a shooters ability to compete in Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Combined Firearms sports.

The Generation III Gun championship has six divisions including Heavy Irons, Heavy Optics, Open, Tactical Irons, Tactical Optics, and Thursday Shooter. Award categories include Junior, Lady, Law Enforcement, Military, Range Officer, Senior, Sponsored Shooter, and Thursday Shooter. Scoring will be based on time with stage points.

Featuring the NRA World Shooting Championship presented by Magpul and Starlight 3-Gun Championship presented by Timney Triggers.

The first day of the NRA World Shooting Championship, presented by Magpul started out today with a bang.

Bruce Piatt won the 2015 NRA World Shooting Championship.

Shooters from far and wide traveled to West Virginia to compete at the 2015 NRA World Shooting Championship presented by Magpul in September.

Robert Vadasz won the NRA National Police Shooting Championship with a Grand Aggregate score of 3471-230X.

The Bianchi Cup, presented by MidwayUSA, will have a format change for 2016. Everyone will complete the normal 1920 aggregate. The top individuals will compete in a second Championship Event to determine the Cup winners. This change will not affect anything won in the first aggregate and the only competitors affected are the top individuals.

Robert Vadasz now has the second most wins in NPSC history. In this interview he speaks about this year’s NPSC championship victory, and how competitive shooting is an excellent training aid for law enforcement.
