2012 Olympic bronze medalist Matthew Emmons won the 50m 3 Positions final with a score of 458.6 points at the 2016 ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand.

The NRA began awarding “Golden Bullets” to honor collegiate All-Americans in the sport of smallbore rifle shooting in 1936.

The new Coach Academy aims to better educate and train coaches throughout the country in the specific Olympic shooting disciplines.
