The CMP hosts Open Public Nights for anyone interested in attempting air gun shooting. For those new to the sport, air guns are available for loan at the range.

The future of the shooting sports looks very bright.

The air gun range was only one of many attractions available for competitive shooters earlier this year at the NRA Annual Meeting and Exhibits in Louisville, KY.

The best marksmen from around the country in men and women’s air rifle and air pistol competed for the remaining spots during three days of qualifications and finals.

Will Brown earned the air pistol slot after defeating 2008 and 2012 Olympian Jason Turner in Day 3’s finals.

The new season contains a whole new set of the popular information-packed American Airgunner Round Table segments.

Relays were held one day each in the three categories of silhouette air rifle: Sporter Rifle (a spring-air type), Open Rifle (practically any configuration), and Target Rifle (a stock 10-meter gun).

Over 100 air rifle and air pistol competitors are expected for the Crosman All-American Field Target Championship.

The attention to detail is obvious with an integrated accessory rail, metal slide and precise physical dimensions.
