Hillsdale College announces new Ailes Action Shooting Range at its Halter Shooting Sports Center

The No. 1-ranked West Virginia University Mountaineers opened its rifle season at the No. 10 Univ. of Akron Zips home range.

Anti joins the Alaska rifle team after managing and coaching the USA Shooting Paralympic program for one year.

A two-time NCAA smallbore champion (2017-18), Phillips was also the 2017 NCAA runner-up in air rifle.

It came down to the X-count to determine the contest between the two top rifle teams in the country. Navy and Army swap spots.

WVU and TCU remain at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in the weekly CRCA rankings, while the Navy rifle team jumps two spots after a big win on the road against Ohio State.

For the second week in a row, the WVU rifle team is ranked No. 1 in the CRCA poll. TCU jumps two spots to No. 2. The two schools will face off in Morgantown on Oct. 26.

West Virginia University, the Air Force Academy and the University of Kentucky are ranked one through three, respectively, according to the first CRCA poll of this season. The CRCA (College Rifle Coaches Association) rankings are determined from each team's highest score fired so far this season.
