The Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association poll for the week of November 8, 2022, ranked Ole Miss in the No. 1 spot for the third time in school history
In March, the College Rifle Coaches Association announced that Ole Miss rifle’s Marsha Beasley and Jean-Pierre Lucas were named Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year, respectively.
No. 1 Kentucky, No. 2 TCU, No. 3 WVU, No. 4 Nebraska and No. 5 Akron dominate the latest NCAA rankings.
Back and forth for the top rifle team ranking has been the name of the game nearly all season for the WVU Mountaineers and the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs. The two squads have swapped spots several times this season thus far.
The weekly CRCA rankings has Texas Christian University the top rifle school in the country, followed by West Virginia University.
It came down to the X-count to determine the contest between the two top rifle teams in the country. Navy and Army swap spots.
WVU and TCU remain at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in the weekly CRCA rankings, while the Navy rifle team jumps two spots after a big win on the road against Ohio State.
For the second week in a row, the WVU rifle team is ranked No. 1 in the CRCA poll. TCU jumps two spots to No. 2. The two schools will face off in Morgantown on Oct. 26.
West Virginia University, the Air Force Academy and the University of Kentucky are ranked one through three, respectively, according to the first CRCA poll of this season. The CRCA (College Rifle Coaches Association) rankings are determined from each team's highest score fired so far this season.
