Ohio State University dominates competition at Scholastic Action Shooting Program’s Intercollegiate Pistol National Championship

The CUSF (Canadian University Shooting Federation) is the recipient of a generous sponsor package from Savage to help the state of Canadian collegiate firearms education and sport shooting skills development.

In March, the College Rifle Coaches Association announced that Ole Miss rifle’s Marsha Beasley and Jean-Pierre Lucas were named Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year, respectively.

Competitive shooting teaches sportsmanship, leadership, responsibility, concentration, self-discipline and teamwork.

Quality shooting equipment is not cheap, but the total expense of operating a collegiate shooting team is far less than most scholastic sports.

The swift spread of coronavirus this week resulted in authorities either canceling or postponing nearly all championships planned for this month. To keep the ball rolling, NRA switched the format of the 2020 NRA Intercollegiate Pistol Championships & Rifle Club Championships to a postal match.
