Plaque Honoring Ruby Fox Debuts at NRA Museum

The National Firearms Museum recently debuted a new plaque honoring Ruby Fox in its “Olympic and International Shooting” display. The plaque features a famous picture of Fox holding her signature Hämmerli 208, along with a gold NRA National Championship medallion she won at Camp Perry.

When asked if she ever “plinked” or shot just for fun, Ruby reflected for a moment and answered: “Shooting was always serious. It was a job that I loved. It was reverent. It was always a dress-up performance.”
