New for 2021 from Birchwood Casey are five shooting rests. The company says that each rest—Alpha, Bravo, Echo, Foxtrot and Tango—is specifically designed for accuracy, comfort and ease of use. Ranging in price from $29.99 to $229.99, competitive shooters that are searching for an affordable new rest should check out the new models. Below are details for each one.

Alpha shooting rest
Alpha shooting rest ($229.99).

Starting with the Alpha ($229.99), this shooting rest sports a tubular steel frame design for maximum strength, along with a non-slip rubber stock rest, integrated weighted front (35 pounds total) and adjustable leveling feet with bullseye bubble level. The Tango accommodates AR pistols with barrels as short as 7.5 inches, as well as full-sized rifles. The low-profile design is good for prone shooting. Ambidextrous controls and oversized knobs make adjustments quick and easy, even with gloved hands. The front of the Alpha shooting rest maneuvers 2 inches for windage, 3.5 inches for elevation and 4.25 inches to accommodate different rifle sizes.

Bravo shooting rest
Bravo shooting rest ($129.99).

As for the new Bravo shooting rest ($129.99), it is supported with a rigid steel frame design and includes a non-slip rubber stock rest and non-slip rubber feet with bullseye bubble level. The overall weight is 15 pounds and it accommodates most full-sized rifles (including larger magazines) and popular AR pistols with barrels as short as 7.5 inches. In addition, the low-profile design is great for shooting prone, while the ambidextrous controls, along with oversized knobs, make adjustments quick and easy. The front of the Bravo shooting rest allows for 3.5 inches elevation adjustment and will fit multiple rifle sizes.

Echo shooting rest
Echo shooting rest ($89.99).

Also equipped with a strong steel frame structure, adjustable leveling feet and a non-slip rubber stock rest, the Echo shooting rest ($89.99) will securely holds rifles, including those with barrels as short as 7.5 inches. The front support allows for 3 inches of windage and 2 inches of elevation adjustment. Birchwood Casey says that this unit is lightweight, compact and easy to transport.

Foxtrot rifle and pistol shooting rest
Foxtrot rifle and pistol shooting rest ($49.99).

Next is the Foxtrot rifle and pistol shooting rest ($49.99), which is an efficient model that accommodates both pistols and rifles. You can set up the rest for handgun shooting with no tools by removing the rear and center section. And the quick-detach design offers high adjustment and versatility and is sized for popular AR pistols and short-barrel rifles. Molded with high-density polymers for light weight, the Foxtrot has a sturdy frame structure. The padded front support securely holds the firearm and provides for quick adjustments with the oversized grip. Additionally, this unit breaks down for easy storage and transport.

Tango shooting rest
Tango front mount rifle and pistol shooting rest ($29.99).

Finally, the most inexpensive option is the Tango ($29.99), which is a front mount rifle and pistol shooting rest. The Tango includes a padded front support that houses both handguns and rifles while protecting the firearm finish. This rest is not only simple to set up, but also ergonomically designed to support the shooter’s hand while firing. To operate the adjustable elevation tool, simply spin to the right or left to increase or decrease elevation. Plus, oversized footings help maintain a stable shooting platform, no matter the caliber size. The Tango is molded from high-density polymer, will fit most shooting benches and accommodates the majority of handguns and rifles.
