Team Savage shooter Tom Hubbard took the win this past weekend in Sherwood, Oregon, at the Summer League 10-target, 2000-point 200X Maximum Match, located at Tri County Gun Club (TCGC).

This 600-yard Summer League Match put shooters to the test by challenging them to a variety of long-range shots—with competitors facing 10 targets overall. Hubbard took first place overall at the competition after facing a fierce battle for the top spot.

Hubbard seized first place for Team Savage at TCGC by finishing with a score of 1991-119X for all 10 targets.

Hubbard of Team Savage beat out the opposition using a Savage rifle, one similar to the Savage 12 F-Class long-range rifle. Other items on his equipment list included a Vortex Golden Eagle scope, Berger Bullets, Vihtavuori powder and Lapua brass.

“Congratulations to Hubbard on a successful weekend,” Beth Shimanski, director of marketing at Savage Arms said. “We’re thrilled for Team Savage to gain yet another win this year and we look forward to adding even more as the season continues.”
