Length of sear engagement can be viewed through a window on the T7T, allowing a competitor to adjust the trigger’s feel for their desired breaking weight, while maintaining a generous sear engagement up to the moment of firing.
The Tubb 700 Trigger (T7T) from David Tubb’s Superior Shooting Systems is a buttery smooth, two-stage trigger that allows for the fine tuning necessary in advanced competition. The T7T is designed to be dropped into any Remington 700 style action out of the box, although you might need to get your dremel out to do some slight adjusting for that perfect fit.

The T7T is adjustable from under 1 lb. to over 3 lbs. of pull weight, with a factory setting of 1½ lbs. for the first stage and ½ lb. for the second stage, as well as a reversible trigger shoe. The T7T needs 2 allen (hex head) wrenches and one star driver to make complete adjustments. The star driver moves the trigger shoe—one hex head adjusts first-stage spring tension while the other adjusts second-stage engagement, second-stage weight, and second-stage break.

The T7T takes very little effort to engage first-stage movement with little initial pull weight, and slightly more effort for the second-stage stop and final trigger break. A well-adjusted two-stage trigger is desirable every time over a single-stage in competition. The T7T trigger is designed to give users the type of exacting trigger pull they prefer while keeping the inherent safety design of a two-stage model. Worried about field worthiness? All T7T parts are made of either stainless steel or aluminum to provide maximum corrosion resistance, making it extremely durable. Click here to see for yourself the punishment the T7T can endure. The T7T is also available in a left-handed version. To order one now, go to www.DavidTubb.com.
