The 2018 Single Action Shooting Society's (SASS) End of Trail will be held June 14- 24 at Founders Ranch in Edgewood, NM. The first End of Trail was in 1982 and is now known as one of the premier events dedicated to the Old West. The event is held over 10 jam-packed days each year in June, with world-class competitors, exhibitors and entertainment for the entire family.

Spectators are welcome to observe the multiple shooting competitions, including: Cowboy Action Shooting, Wild Bunch, SASS Mounted Shooting, additionally Sporting Clays and special side matches.

Founded in 1987, SASS has grown to become an organization represented in all 50 states and 18 foreign countries. Members compete with firearms typical of those used in the Old West, spurring an industry surge in the sales of firearms and ammunition not seen in over 100 years. Each member is required to choose a shooting alias and wear appropriate costuming representative of an Old West character or profession during competitions. Events take place nationwide every weekend of the calendar year, creating a cottage industry and resurgence of traditional makers of leather, hats and clothing. SASS tries to instill the spirit of the game in its participants, which has been a prime factor in the booming membership.
