Team Remington Skeet Shooters Clinch Major Wins At 2023 World Skeet Championships

Remington’s squad of pro shotgunners dominated the competition at the 2023 World Skeet Championships in San Antonio, Texas.

Team Remington’s skeet shooters notched major wins in every category of the 2023 World Skeet Championships. The match was held September 29 to October 6 at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas.

Remington’s pros posted several victories for Big Green, including Connor Thigpen’s historic finish as the youngest shooter to ever win a World Championship, topping the leaderboard in the 20-gauge Main event.

Another Team Remington hotshot, Houston Deshotels, was the 12-gauge Main Event champion, also taking runner-up in the HOA race.

Meanwhile, Sheaffer Stanfill finished as the tournament’s High All Around champion, also clinching runner-up in the 12-gauge Mains and Doubles, along with winning the Champion of Champions event.

In addition, Remington swept the podium in the 12-gauge West Main event, with Lauren Burge as champion, Houston Deshotels runner-up and Sheaffer Stanfill in third. Team Remington’s Clay Baldwin was the champion of the Remington .410 Bore event and runner-up in the 12-gauge East Main event.

As for Lauren Burge, she took home the 28-gauge Open Event Championship title, while Alison Boyette was the top lady competitor in the Main 20-gauge event, shooting 100/100 and winning the shoot-off.

Team Remington shoots Premier Nitro 27 and Premier STS competitive shotshells for trap, skeet and sporting clays.
