Christensen Arms recently announced its new Modern Precision Rifle Rimfire available in the following chamberings: .22 LR, .22 WMR and .17 HMR.

About the new Modern Precision Rifle Rimfire, Christensen Arms said it sets “a new standard for accuracy and performance in highly versatile rimfire chamberings.”

Accuracy is the cornerstone of the new Christensen Arms Modern Precision Rifle Rimfire, which boasts a guarantee from the company to shoot three-shot, sub-MOA groups at 50 yards. Plus, it sports a folding stock with locking hinge and Magnelock technology.

 

With a design based on the company’s chassis-style MPR centerfire rifle, the Modern Precision Rifle Rimfire is equipped with an accurate carbon-fiber tension barrel that’s also rigid and lightweight.

Equipped with a side-folding, magnetically secured stock for easy storage and transport, the Modern Precision Rifle Rimfire also has a TriggerTech trigger, lightweight aluminum chassis, Flash Forged Technology (proprietary to Christensen Arms) carbon-fiber handguard with M-Lok attachment points, as well as an adjustable FFT carbon-fiber cheek piece and six quick-detach flush cup mounts. Plus, the length of pull is adjustable.

Available with a 16-, 18- or 20-inch barrel and in .22 LR, .22 WMR and .17 HMR chamberings, the Christensen Arms Modern Precision Rifle Rimfire also sports a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle. In addition, the zero-MOA Picatinny rail can be replaced with aftermarket 20-MOA, 40-MOA and 60-MOA options.

About the new Modern Precision Rifle Rimfire, Christensen Arms said it is “at home in the field or on the range and is easy to operate for new and experienced shooters alike, delivering shooters the opportunity to train with economical rimfire rounds.”

 

Additional options for the Christensen Arms Modern Precision Rifle Rimfire include three color finishes (Black, Desert Brown and Tungsten) and two different handguard lengths (10½ inches and 14 inches).

Overall weight starts at 6.2 pounds. In addition, the Christensen Arms Modern Precision Rifle Rimfire uses Ruger BX-1 10-round rotary magazines and is also compatible with Ruger’s BX-15 15-round magazine.
