The National Rifle Association of America has announced a major development for one of its newest programs: NRA America’s Rifle Challenge (ARC) is now a recognized match type within Practiscore, the industry-standard match management and scoring system. The integration allows shooting clubs to host and score ARC events with improved speed, consistency and ease, further expanding the program’s reach across the country.

With Practiscore 2.0 version 2.1.23+94, match directors can now select pre-built templates for NRA ARC events, including Level One matches that feature preloaded Stages 1 through 4. This streamlines match creation and improves consistency from event to event. Clubs looking to host more advanced Level Two ARC matches or ARC Two-Gun competitions can still customize courses of fire using a tablet through the Practiscore platform.

ARC
ARC is more than just another rifle match—it’s a gateway for new shooters and a proving ground for seasoned competitors, all centered around America’s most popular rifle platform.

“Practiscore is happy to be working with and supporting the NRA as they launch the America’s Rifle Challenge with our management and scoring system,” said D.J. Petrou, Practiscore’s Director of Match Integration. “NRA Clubs and competitors will be able to host or register for matches along with having timely posting of match results. Helping to make competitive shooting available to the public is a primary goal of Practiscore. See you on the range.”

The platform now enables clubs to create and publish ARC matches using preloaded or custom stages, accept competitor registrations and payments online, organize squads and communicate match details efficiently. Once the shooting ends, scores and finalized results can be posted instantly, giving competitors real-time access to performance data and historical records.

For shooters, the benefits include simplified match sign-up, quick access to results and a searchable archive of NRA ARC matches nationwide.

“We’re proud to have Practiscore integrated into our programs as the NRA continues to develop the America’s Rifle Challenge and help drive the modernization of our legacy competitive shooting sports,” said Cole McCulloch, Director of NRA Competitive Shooting. “The days of long waits, turning in and tabulating score cards to determine a victor were our past—the future is here now.”

Launching officially on August 4, 2025, NRA America’s Rifle Challenge is designed to promote skill development, responsible gun ownership and civilian marksmanship using the AR-15 platform. The program blends structured training with real-world competitive shooting and even supports the use of suppressors.

Getting started is easy. Clubs can register for a free Practiscore account at practiscore.com, and competitors can sign up for a free NRA competitor number at competitor.nra.org. To find an ARC event or learn more about the program, visit arc.nra.org.
