Team Winchester and Team White Flyer sent a full roster of top sporting-clays athletes to compete at the 2025 National Sporting Clays Association U.S. Open, held at the Providence Hill Sporting Club in Jackson, Mississippi, from April 28 to May 4.
Among the many accomplishments for Team Winchester and Team White Flyer shooters at the 2025 U.S. Open, one stands out: Theo Ribbs, who claimed third place in the Main Event with a score of 186/200. His score was only one point away from second place finisher Cory Kruse. In all, Ribbs walked away from the 2025 U.S. Open with a total payout of $3,543.

“Congratulations to Theo on his third place finish and the rest of Team Winchester and Team White Flyer on their tenacity at the 2025 U.S. Open,” Winchester Ammunition Senior Director of Marketing Jason Gilbertson said. “The NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester is officially underway and the team is ready to compete.”

WINCHESTER LADIES CUP
Winchester is committed to growing participation for women in the shooting sports and designed the first sporting clays competition specifically for women that shoot on the NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester—the Winchester Ladies Cup. The Winchester Ladies Cup provides $6,750 in additional payout dollars to the top five lady competitors in the Main Event at each championship tour stop. The highest overall lady will receive an additional payout of $3,000, runner-up will receive $1,500, third place will receive $1,000, fourth place $750 and fifth place $500. The additional payout that Winchester provides totals almost $50,000 in incentive for women competing in the NSCA Championship Tour.
“Having a competition geared towards women that isn’t a separate event, but intertwined with each tour stop’s main event is invaluable to female competitors,” Team Winchester shooter Desi Edmunds said. “The Winchester Ladies Cup is unique to this sport and provides an opportunity for female shooters to compete alongside men making the NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester a truly inclusive event.”
Something to note: Winchester is the only ammunition brand offering additional incentives to women competitors—further proving its commitment to growing the shooting sports.
