The 2025 NSCA Southeast Regional wrapped up a week of competition on October 5, with 756 shooters descending on Back Woods Quail Club in Georgetown County, South Carolina, from September 29 to October 5. Team Winchester and Team White Flyer came away with a haul of nine podium finishes across multiple events, rounding out the final regional stop before this month’s NCA National Championship in San Antonio.

Joe Fanizzi, a consistent force on the tour, delivered a standout Main Event score of 179 out of 200, which earned him third overall. He added another podium in FITASC with a 94/100. But it was Fanizzi’s remarkable final stretch, a run of 66 hits on 68 targets, that turned heads. Known for his focus and technical poise, Fanizzi continues to anchor Team Winchester with reliable high-level scores.

Veteran shooter Mike Wilgus also remained in top form. He clinched the Veteran Main Event title with 179/200 and took runner-up in Super Sporting Veteran with 91/100. Wilgus has now landed on the podium in every major NSCA regional this season, including wins in the High Veteran category at the last three Regionals and the Diamond Classic.

Desi Edmunds dominated the Super Sporting Ladies division, finishing with a 92/100 to claim first, and later added a third-place finish in the Ladies Prelim (83/100). Connor Daniel posted a 92/100 to secure second in the FITASC Junior division, while Anthony I. Matarese, Jr., notched two top-three finishes with a 95/100 in FITASC (runner-up) and a 93/100 in the Prelim (third place).

With the Southeast Regional officially closing the 2025 NSCA Championship Tour’s regular season, the stage is now set for the NSCA National Championship later this month in San Antonio, Texas.

“The 2025 NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester, once again included incredible performances from Team Winchester and Team White Flyer,” said Jason Gilbertson, senior director of marketing at Winchester Ammunition. “The National Championship is coming and we’re looking forward to showcasing the best-in-class AA shotshell and White Flyer clay targets. Congratulations to all competitors at the Southeast Regional.”
