The Ohio State University pistol team’s Anthony McCollum has won the 2018 NRA Intercollegiate Standard Pistol Championship. The championship concluded today after several days of competition hosted by the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU) at Ft. Benning, GA.

The last time an Ohio State pistol shooter won this championship was when Joseph Totts secured back-to-back victories back in 2013 and 2014.

McCollum finished this year’s match with a total score of 547. In second place for the Standard Pistol Championship was Brian Kim of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, with a final score six points behind McCollum.
