Winchester Ammunition recently announced they are adding champion skeet shooter Frank Thompson to their roster. Thompson will continue to compete with Winchester AA shotshell ammunition. Additionally, he will serve as a brand ambassador for the company. Last month, Winchester signed fellow skeet shooting champion Dania Vizzi.

Thompson’s competitive shooting career began when he was nine, and his achievements so far include medals in national and international matches. He also was a competitor at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics. Currently ranked 13 in the world, Thompson is working toward his next goal: the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. When Thompson is not training at the range, he works on his family ranch in Nebraska. He also enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.

“To be aligned with one of the most respected and legendary brands in the world is a great feeling,” said Thompson. “I have been shooting Winchester ammunition for decades and I’m proud to represent a company that is clearly a leader in innovation, but also a brand with more than 150 years of history and heritage.”
