Launching in early 2020 is a new Performance Eyewear line from none other than glass giant Leupold & Stevens. Intended for use both in the field and in casual settings, the company says they have "designed this eyewear for every possibility."

The new line will have five styles at launch, all built from ballistic-rated materials and scratch-resistant polarized lenses. Each style is compatible with prescription lens requirements. Additionally, three of the five new designs meet or exceed ANSI high-velocity impact standards for eye protection.

Leupold Eyewear Countdown Clock
You can view the countdown clock at the company website. Leupold spent two years making sure the final product lived up to its standards.

Here are features common to all five of the styles available at launch:

  • Infused polarized lenses (glare reduction)
  • Guard-ion hydrophobic coating
  • Diamondcoat (reduce scratching of lenses)
  • Daylight Max (UV protection)

With 112 years of optics manufacturing experience, we can certainly expect the new product line to be packed with features and performance worthy of the Leupold name. Best of all, every model is designed, machined and assembled in the United States.

Leupold has a special countdown clock ticking off the days and hours to the arrival of its new Performance Eyewear that you can view at the website.
