Smith & Wesson added personality and star power to its pro team last week when the manufacturer announced two marquee signings to its professional shooting team: Hunter Constantine and Nick Johnson, the latter better known online as “PewView.”

The additions bring a powerful one-two punch of competitive pedigree and digital influence. For Smith & Wesson, it’s a strategic move that reinforces its brand’s roots while reaching a younger, more diverse shooting audience.

USPSA Grand Master Hunter Constantine joins Team Smith & Wesson with a resume already filled with championship hardware. Known for his lightning-fast draws and laser-focused accuracy, Constantine has not only won dozens of national competitions, but also made waves in the tactical world with the Constantine Carry Belt, a premium hybrid belt used by civilians and military professionals alike.

“Smith & Wesson has been with me since I started my shooting journey, and I’m excited to partner in an official capacity as a professional shooter,” Constantine said. “I look forward to this new chapter of representing the brand and educating firearms owners and enthusiasts about the shooting sports and Smith & Wesson products.”

Beyond his competitive shooting chops, Constantine is also a respected instructor. His training clientele spans from weekend range warriors to elite military units, making him a perfect ambassador for Smith & Wesson’s blend of everyday carry and professional-grade equipment.

Then there’s Nick Johnson—marksman, content-creation king and one-man highlight reel. Known across Instagram and YouTube as “PewView,” Johnson’s trick shots and firearm reviews have racked up millions of views. But make no mistake, he’s more than just flash.

Starting competitive shooting at 14, Johnson’s skills are as sharp as his online persona. He’s taken home wins in numerous tournaments, also earning the title of Best Shooter at the 2024 Gundies Awards and won Season 4 of the “American Airgunner Challenge.

Johnson is a longtime fan of Smith & Wesson and especially Jerry Miculek.

“I grew up watching Jerry Miculek break world records and constantly shock the world with his skill and drive to be the best. It’s what first lit the fire in me for shooting and content creation,” Johnson said. “Now to be partnering with Smith & Wesson, the same brand that fueled that childhood inspiration, is surreal. This isn’t just a sponsorship for me, it’s a full-circle moment. I’m excited to represent a company with such a rich legacy and help pass that same spark on to the next generation of great shooters.”

By bringing in both Constantine and Johnson, Smith & Wesson is making a clear statement: tradition and innovation aren’t mutually exclusive—they’re the brand’s blueprint. One represents elite competition and tactical evolution, the other a next-gen influencer connecting with millions through firearm entertainment and education.

It’s a strategic blend of old-school excellence and new-school relevance—and for fans of competition shooting sports, it’s a thrilling sign of what’s to come.
