Staccato 2011 recently announced a notable expansion of its lifetime warranty on handguns.

The warranty now follows every Staccato firearm for its lifetime, regardless of where it was purchased or how many past owners the gun has.

A free lifetime warranty is included with every Staccato-built pistol at no cost and covers eligible defects and failures, including issues affecting function or accuracy, cracked frames, slides or barrels, broken thumb/grip safeties, slide stops, ejectors, extractors or grips, coating delamination caused by a factory preparation or application issue and factory blending required to correct contact hot spots.

Something to note: normal wear items are not covered under warranty, including springs, magazine followers and coating wear caused by holster contact or hard use. Also excluded: damage or malfunctions caused by aftermarket parts.

Customers who have already registered their gun with Staccato do not need to update their warranty online; the updated warranty terms take effect immediately for existing handgun registrations. Customers who purchase a pre-owned Staccato are eligible for the lifetime warranty at no cost and must re-register the firearm under their name at the Staccato website.

This lifetime warranty applies only to Staccato-branded firearms. Legacy STI firearms are not included. You can review full warranty terms, activate coverage and submit a claim at staccato2011.com/warranty.
