The 2023 NRA National Smallbore Rifle Championships were held July 25 to August 6. One of the three major championships that comprise the NRA National Matches, this year’s NRA Smallbore Nationals were fired for the third consecutive year at Camp Atterbury, an Indiana National Guard facility located about 37 miles south of Indianapolis.

The five-day NRA National Smallbore Rifle 3-Position Championship was held at Camp Atterbury from July 25-29.

Now in its third year at Camp Atterbury, which is a National Guard training facility in Indiana located about 37 miles south of Indianapolis, the 2023 NRA National Matches featured five weeks of continuous competition in High Power Rifle, Precision Pistol and Smallbore Rifle.

Michelle Bohren was the runner-up in the 2023 NRA National Smallbore Rifle Championship Lones Wigger Iron Man Trophy aggregate with a score of 13020-712X, seven points behind the winner, Cameron Zwart.

There were 20 entries in this year’s NRA National Smallbore 3-Position Championship, part of the 2023 NRA National Matches at Camp Atterbury.
The Smallbore 3-Position 1st Overall Junior title went to Sarvam Sheth with a score of 4203-103X. Here he is pictured with NRA Board Member Edie Fleeman at the awards ceremony.
