Brandon Powell, a standout competitor with Team Remington, continues to dominate the sporting clays circuit in 2025 with a remarkable run of victories across the Southeast.

Most recently, Powell captured the Main Event title at the Shooters Championship, held May 29 to June 1 at Meadows Clay Sports in Forsyth, Georgia, with a near-perfect score of 199 out of 200 targets. He also earned the High Over All honor in the Five-Stand event with 98 of 100 targets.

For his Main Event High Over All victory at the 2025 Shooters Championship, Powell received a payout of $6,000.

This win adds to an already impressive sporting clays season for Powell in 2025. He also secured High Over All at the Freedom Cup tournament held at Pine Ridge Farm in Indian Mound, Tennessee, from May 23-25. In addition, Powell was crowned 2025 Alabama Sporting Clays State Champion at Selwood Farm in Alpine, Alabama, earlier in May.

“The Shooters Championship is one for the books! I am happy to have taken home High Over All in the main with a 199/200 score and High Over All in Five-Stand,” Powell said. “I was also grateful to win High Over All at the Freedom Cup and to become the Alabama State Champion last month. All the events were at some awesome places with great targets and tough competitors.”

Powell’s consistent performance and ability to rise to the occasion against top-tier competition have made him one of the most formidable names in sporting clays competition this season, much like in previous years.

Powell competes in sporting clays with Remington Premier shotshells.

“Brandon has won several big events this spring, which is exciting to see,” Remington Vice President of Marketing Jason Nash said. “We know he has the ultimate confidence in the Remington shotshells, and we look forward more great performances throughout the rest of the season.”
