Team Remington’s Brandon Powell is making a habit of standing atop the podium.

The reigning champion returned to Ohio’s Cardinal Shooting Center and delivered another commanding performance, capturing the High Over All (HOA) title at the 2025 NSCA Northeast Regional Championship. With a score of 187 out of 200, Powell edged the competition by four targets, securing his second consecutive win at one of the National Sporting Clays Association’s premier events. The tournament ran from June 9-15, 2025.

Facing a field of nearly 600 Main Event shooters, Powell once again proved why he’s one of the most consistent forces on the regional circuit.

Powell’s performance wasn’t limited to the Main Event. He also finished as runner-up in the Prelim with 97 of 100 targets, as well as third place in the Five-Stand event with 93 of 100 targets, showcasing his all-around skill across multiple games.

For his Main Event HOA victory, Powell earned a $5,000 payout. In all, he left the Cardinal Shooting Center with a total payout of $11,195.

While Powell led the headlines, the weekend also featured strong showings from several top-tier Team Remington competitors. Todd Hitch dominated the Super Sporting event, winning High Over All by an impressive eight-target margin over a field of 544. Additionally, Madison Sharpe claimed third place in the Winchester Ladies Cup (170/200), while Turner Purcell earned the runner-up honor in the 20-gauge event (49/50).

Mike Luongo also made waves, winning both the 28-gauge and .410 bore events (46/50, 45/50) and finishing third in the 12-gauge competition with 46/50 targets.

“I felt I shot steady this weekend,” Luongo said. “Overall, Team Remington was on fire at the event. The targets were tough and challenged all levels of shooters including the pros.”

There were more than 780 total competitors in attendance at the 2025 NSCA Northeast Regional. You can see the full results of the tournament at the Score Chaser website.

“Another strong performance from a deep team,” Remington’s Vice President of Marketing Jason Nash said. “The depth of talent is impressive. Team Remington has certainly made a strong statement to start the regional circuit.”

With this year’s National Sporting Clays Association Northeast Regional in the books, Powell’s back-to-back titles bolster his place as a dominant force in the sport—and set the stage for what could be a historic season on the NSCA competition circuit.
