At the 2019 Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) National Championships, conducted at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, OH, July 13-20, there was an incredible 2,343 athletes and coaches registered. See the gallery above.

Even more impressive, there were nearly two million clay targets thrown over the duration of the competition. But, the superlatives don't end there. Due to the borderline-oppressive heat and humidity that was encountered this summer in Ohio, 2019 marks the largest number of water bottles ever consumed at the SCTP National Championship.

The 2020 SCTP National Championships are slated for July 11-18. Learn more at this link.
