MARENGO, Ohio — Jon Shue is your national champion again. For the fourth year running, he topped the Grand Aggregate leaderboard at the NRA National Precision Pistol Championship, leaving the Cardinal Shooting Center with a 2659-156X and the Harrison Trophy, 15 points clear of runner-up Keith Sanderson.

The Grand Aggregate adds up each competitor’s scores from the .22 Caliber, Centerfire and .45 Caliber matches. The overall winner gets the Harrison Trophy plaque, the most famous award in bullseye pistol.

Shue shot 10 points better than the 2649-122X that won it for him in 2025. He also finished with 156 Xs, the most in the field. Nobody else besides Sanderson even cracked 150 in the X-count. Precision pistol titles usually come down to a point or two, so a 15-point win is rare air.

Sanderson, a two-time Olympian and past national champion, was second with 2644-150X. Travis Jorgenson, last year’s runner-up, was third at 2639-120X.

Shue’s aggregate also took High Civilian and High Veteran. Behind him, the strongest category score belonged to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit’s Greg Markowski, whose 2634-124X earned High Service, followed closely by Shane Murphy’s 2624-107X for High Police. Lisa Emmert-Traciak was High Woman with 2612-112X, Franklin Dessuit was High Grand Senior at 2607-97X and Seth Innes took High Senior with 2585-88X.

The 2026 NRA National Precision Pistol Championship ran July 4-8 at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio. It was the second straight year the match was held at Cardinal.
