For 2022, Benelli improves on its innovative 828U over/under with the new 828U Limited Edition. The company will produce only 200 units of this special scattergun in 12-gauge with a 28-inch barrel.

The 828U adds to its proven design with new performance and styling enhancements on the 828U Limited Edition. Benelli will produce only 200 units of the 828U Limited Edition in 12-gauge with a 28-inch barrel.

About the new 828U Limited Edition, Benelli says:

Benelli fundamentally redefined the possibilities of the over/under shotgun category when the company presented the all-new 828U to the upland and sporting clays set in 2015. While largely hewing to the classical O/U profile, the 828U delivered several innovations in keeping with Benelli’s reputation for durability, reliable performance, and forward-thinking technology throughout its shotgun lines.

With a nickel-plated steel frame and game scene engravings along the sides, top, and bottom of the receiver, the 828U Limited Edition is a fine-looking shotgun. Complementing the metalwork—satin-finished, AA-grade walnut furniture.

As with the mainline 828U, the 828U Limited Edition includes all the performance features that have made this double-barrel a standout in the field, such as impulse-activated ejectors, a top-lever striker reset and the Benelli Progressive Comfort System recoil mitigation in the stock. The 828U also has a removable trigger group for easy cleaning, adjustable drop and cast for a custom fit—plus Benelli’s patented steel locking system that prevents shotshell pressure transfer to the receiver and hinge pins.
