Beretta’s new AX800 Suprema semi-automatic shotgun is forged for the unforgiving theater of waterfowl hunting. This is Beretta’s most advanced waterfowl shotgun to date, a machine that marries centuries of craftsmanship with bleeding-edge engineering.

At the core of the AX800 Suprema lies the B-LINK Pro Gas System, a marvel of kinetic efficiency that Beretta says will cycle 36% faster and 46% cleaner than its predecessors. Whether you’re running light target loads or punishing magnums, the AX800 will deliver softer recoil and high reliability in conditions that would humble lesser scatterguns.

Beretta AX800 Suprema features
The Beretta AX800 Suprema boasts a rich set of features, blending advanced engineering with rugged design for uncompromising waterfowl performance.

A polymer receiver with a modular design features an integrated optic mount. Additionally, Beretta incorporates a flat trigger described as having “a crisp break and fast reset.”

Then there’s the Steelium Pro barrel, a name whispered with reverence among Olympic champions that shoot the Beretta DT11 and here tuned for the duck blind. An extended 17.7-inch forcing cone sculpts patterns with surgical precision, sending shot downrange with energy and consistency that may border on unfair. Pair that with Kick-Off Pro recoil reduction, and even the heaviest waterfowl loads should feel like a gentle tap on the shoulder—up to 70% less felt recoil, according to Beretta.

The AX800 Suprema doesn’t stop at performance. An adjustable comb, interchangeable grip and weatherproof recoil pad will ensure the gun feels like an extension of your body, whether you’re crouched in a cramped boat or pivoting in a wind-whipped blind. In addition, the oversized loading port, bolt handle and trigger guard are ideal for gloved hands.

Beretta’s AX800 Suprema is available now through authorized dealers, starting at $2,399. It arrives as the company approaches its 500th anniversary in 2026—a milestone that reminds us that while the world changes, Beretta’s pursuit of perfection does not.
