Laser Ammo recently unveiled its Recoil Enabled 2011 Match King laser training pistol, which is based on the AW Custom HX26 “Match King” Compact Hi-CAPA recoil pistol.

Made to replicate the feel and function of the firearm that inspired it, the new Recoil Enabled 2011 Match King should deliver a realistic training experience. Designed for enhanced precision and reliability, this full-sized sidearm features a metal slide and frame, a crisp trigger and a short reset, plus textured polymer grip panels for control during rapid-fire sessions.

More from the company about the Recoil Enabled 2011 Match King training gun: “This innovative training pistol is modified by Laser Ammo to make it a Class 1 eye-safe laser training recoil pistol. The new training pistol uses a CNC machined REAL conversion barrel with the robust SureStrike laser and PST (piston) back cap, available in Red or Infrared. The REAL barrel conversion includes a simple to use but accurate windage and elevation alignment system that allows the user to align the laser for accurate training, ideally used with the Smokeless Range or Laser Ammo reactive targets.”

Additional features on this training pistol include an integrated accessory rail for attaching tactical lights or accessories, along with a green gas blowback system for rapid filling of the magazine. Alternatively, CO2 magazines are available.

“After checking various other 2011-style firearms, Laser Ammo chose the HX26 “Match King” specifically, as it was decidedly the best fit for our customer's needs,” said Patrick McMahon, who works on the Laser Ammo Military/Law Enforcement sales team and is also the head of Laser Ammo competition division. “The 2011 is a popular gun with competition shooters, as it is red-dot ready. The gun delivers an unmatched level of realism when combined with our advanced training solutions. We believe it will exceed the expectations of serious shooters seeking reliable, high-quality training tools and will prove to be the top-tier choice on the market.”

MSRP for the Laser Ammo Recoil Enabled 2011 Match King laser training pistol starts at $440. Go to laserammo.com.
