Results: 2025 USA Shooting Trap National Championships

Derrick Mein won the men’s title and Loretta Christian won the women’s title at the 2025 USA Shooting Trap National Championships.

The 2025 USA Shooting Trap National Championships came to an exciting finish with Loretta Christian securing the women’s title and Derrick Mein winning the men’s title. In addition, the trap team for the 2025 Junior Pan American Games was officially nominated.

The competition was held at the Hillsdale College John A. Halter Shooting Sports Center in Hillsdale, Michigan, from May 28 to June 1, where national, junior national and world championship teams were named.

Medals were also awarded for the top three finishers in Men’s and Women’s under 18, under 15, collegiate, international and senior categories.

The competition also served as the qualifier for the 2025 Junior Pan American Games. Kaleb Horinek, Tony Meola, Carey Garrison and Ava Downs will be nominated to represent Team USA this August in Asunción, Paraguay. Held every four years, the Junior Pan American Games features athletes from across North, Central and South America.

The 2025 International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Championship team was also named. The following athletes will be competing in Greece this October.

The John A. Halter Shooting Sports Center will be hosting the 2025 USA Shooting Shotgun Junior Olympic Championships on June 20-22 for trap, and June 27-29 for skeet. The Halter Center will also be hosting the 2025 WSPS Shotgun Para Grand Prix on June 23-26.
