Smith & Wesson team member Josh Lentz won Revolver Class at the 2017 USPSA Florida Open Pistol Shooting Championship. He fired 300 rounds during 11 stages using his Performance Center Model 929 revolver. Lentz won seven stages at the championship, bringing him a final score of 100 percent.

"The match was very challenging," Lentz said. "The stages were a mix of targets positioned at different distances, with some targets moving and some static. Through every stage, my Performance Center Model 929 revolver ran flawlessly. This is one of the 'must-attend' USPSA matches of the year, and I am extremely proud to have represented Smith & Wesson.

The event was hosted by the Universal Shooting Academy in Frostproof, FL, with over 400 shooters competing.

The Performance Center by Smith & Wesson Model 929 is part of the Jerry Miculek signature line. Chambered in 9mm, this eight-shot revolver comes with a 6.5-inch barrel and is tuned by master gunsmiths. Additionally, it has a removable compensator, titanium cylinder that is cut for moonclips, and a chromed trigger with stop and teardrop hammer.
