Watchtower Firearms recently launched the DEMOLITIA Blackout Edition chambered in 9 mm, a custom-built tactical pistol created in partnership with Demolition Ranch. This limited-edition handgun is a double-stack 1911 built on Watchtower’s Apache platform that’s a solid choice for fast-paced competition shooting.

More from Watchtower about the new handgun: “The DEMOLITIA Blackout Edition is the stealth-driven evolution of our precision full-steel double-stack 1911, developed in partnership with Demolition Ranch”

At the core of the DEMOLITIA Blackout pistol is a five-inch, ported match-grade barrel with 1:16-inch twist and six-groove rifling. This single-action, hammer-fired setup, paired with a user-adjustable trigger, is built to deliver precision and speed.

The slide is cut to accept RMR-pattern optics and includes a mounting plate in the box. (No optic included.) For those who prefer iron sights, the pistol comes standard with a green fiber-optic front sight, making target acquisition quick even in low-light environments. Additionally, the DEMOLITIA Blackout Edition includes two stainless steel magazines, one 17-round and a 20-round magazine.

Externally, the DEMOLITIA Blackout handgun stands out with a full graphite PVD coating, offering enhanced durability and corrosion resistance against rust and saltwater. The entire firearm—from slide to controls—shares this finish, making it ideal for those operating in punishing environments or simply looking for an ultra-durable sidearm.

Weighing 2.6 pounds with an unloaded magazine inserted, the DEMOLITIA Blackout offers a solid feel without being cumbersome. It measures 8.7 inches long, 1.5 inches wide and stands 6.6 inches tall with the extended magazine or 6.1 inches with the standard. Without a magazine, the pistol weighs 2.4 pounds.

Priced at $4,499, the new DEMOLITIA Blackout is limited to only 200 handguns sold exclusively through Watchtower Firearms and a small group of authorized dealers.
