Federal Premium has released a new load in .224 Valkyrie that uses 90-grain Sierra MatchKing bullets. Aimed squarely at long range target shooters, the MatchKing bullet design has been used to win more matches than any other, thanks to a uniform jacket that ensures consistent accuracy at distance, and a sleek boattail that maximizes ballistic coefficient (BC is .563).

Federal Premium has drawn from its 95 years of ammunition manufacturing experience to develop this cartridge for the MSR 15 platform that helps to unleash competitive shooters’ long range potential with top-notch ballistic performance. The .224 Valkyrie provides extremely flat trajectories, significantly less wind drift and drop than other loads in its class, as well as less than half the recoil of cartridges with comparable ballistics. Quite simply, .224 Valkyrie is a good choice for both long range competitive target shooters and hunters.

Additionally, the 90-grain Gold Medal Sierra Match King will remain at supersonic speeds past 1300 yards. Pricing is approximately $32 per box. Learn more at federalpremium.com
