Lapua Introduces New 7 mm PRC Cartridge Cases

7 mm PRC reloading enthusiasts will now have Lapua cartridge cases as an option to build handloads for their long-range target rifles and custom hunting platforms.

Lapua recently announced the addition of 7 mm PRC cartridge cases to its product lineup. The company’s new 7 mm PRC cartridge cases will be available for purchase this fall.

The 7 mm PRC effortlessly delivers heaviest-in-class .284-caliber projectiles, which are popular for precision shooting and long-range hunting disciplines.

Max RT 6.5 mm Bullet

Another new product from Lapua is the GB582 6.5 mm MaxRange Target projectile, which will be available for precision shooters this spring. This boat-tailed bullet sports a streamlined trajectory, optimized ballistics and improved stability for shooting at extended distances.

Weight is 144 grains and the bullet diameter is 6.71 mm. BC G1 is 0.67 and BC G7 is 0.335.

 

The Max RT projectile has been developed to produce a high ballistic coefficient, while simultaneously adhering to C.I.P. standards.
