Creedmoor Sports recently announced a new Bench and Field Shooting Mat that’s designed with versatility, durability and portability in mind for competitive shooters.

The new mat is manufactured from 1000 Denier Cordura, a very strong and lightweight water-resistant material. The mat also cleans up easily—use a wet sponge, or water it down with your garden hose in your backyard.

The Creedmoor Bench and Field Shooting Mat folds up for easy transport.

Folded up, the mat measures a scant 15½ x 17 inches, and only 1½ inches thick. The folded up mat can be easily placed in a backpack, or even carry in the same hand as your rifle case, all without the bulkiness of a traditional roll-up mat. It will not add too much to the total weight of your shooting gear, weighing only 2.3 lbs.

When opened, the mat provides a covered area of 81 by 31 inches. A supportive ½ inch layer of foam padding for elbows has been inserted in an area that’s approximately 30½ by 16 inches, and is covered with a durable non-slip rubber. If you’re shooting from a bench, fold the extra material under the padding for a layer of protection for your elbows and rifle.

The new mat is handmade in Creedmoor’s Anniston, AL, production facility. It’s available in any color fabric offered by Creedmoor—including Cordura solids and a variety of military camo options, such as Multicam.

“The Bench and Field Shooting Mat is designed for shooters that want a versatile mat with all the custom features and performance that Creedmoor is known for, plus the added value of a great price,” Brent Books, sales and marketing manager for Creedmoor Sports said. He added, “Our shooting mats are developed by shooters for shooters and handmade, so you can count on Creedmoor to have you covered on quality and performance.”

MSRP: $70. The Creedmoor Sports Bench and Field Shooting Mat is available now from CreedmoorSports.com
