MDT’s new lineup of Nanoguard cleaning and lubrication products for firearms includes a cleaner, protector and gun oil, with the latter two products featuring a patented spherical tungsten nanotechnology.
“These nanoparticles penetrate to create a smooth, anti-friction surface, allowing your bolt and moving parts to run smoothly,” the company said about the nanotechnology.
MDT Nanoguard gun cleaner removes carbon and will clean all metal surfaces without leaving any residue, even after heavy use. Spray the gun cleaner on a metal surface, lightly brush and wipe away with a cloth. Note the gun cleaner is for use on metal surfaces only. MDT said not to use it on polymer, plastic or wood. The MSRP is $19.95 for a 13½-ounce can and $14.95 for a 5½-ounce can.
As for MDT’s new Nanoguard Gun Protector CLP-X, it cleans, lubricates and protects your firearm. CLP-X will protect your gun from rust and corrosion while it’s in storage (up to nine months), simultaneously providing a light cleaner and lubricant. In addition, CLP-X uses tungsten disulfide spherical nanoparticles for a protective and lubricating barrier that is hydrophobic moisture resistant and can withstand extreme temperatures. CLP-X can be used on metal, polymer and dressed timber. MSRP is the same as MDT Nanoguard gun cleaner: $19.95 for a 13½-ounce can and $14.95 for a 5½-ounce can.
MDT Nanoguard gun oil is ideal for lubricating high-friction areas. Described by the company as an “ultra-smooth, anti-friction” product, it also prevents heat-induced seizing. Available in a one-ounce container, the MSRP for MDT Nanoguard gun oil is $9.95.
