Speer Ammunition has announced a new product for 2023: Gold Dot Carbine. For the first time ever, there is Gold Dot ammunition built specifically for carbine platforms.

From Speer: “Gold Dot Carbine produces ideal velocities through carbine-length barrels and cycles flawlessly. The Speer Gold Dot G2-style, elastomer filled bullet nose is tuned to produce extremely effective penetration and expansion through common barriers.”

The new 9 mm carbine ammo has a 135-grain bullet with 1,170 f.p.s. muzzle velocity and and 410 foot-pounds of energy from the muzzle.

Additionally, “Gold Dot G2-style bullet has been updated for optimized terminal performance, accuracy and function in carbine platforms,” Speer’s Handgun Product Manager Chris Laack said. “We’ve also made sure it’s still a capable load in full-size handguns, to allow for flexibility in use.”

Speer Gold Dot Carbine ammunition is available in 50-count boxes with MSRP of $76.99. Visit speer.com.
