For his win, Jonasson took home the event’s $25,000 grand prize.

Last year, Jonasson finished as the runner-up at the NRA World Shooting Championship.

“This is my second year ever shooting the NRA World Shooting Championship,” Jonasson said. “This is a fantastic range. If people haven’t been here before, I highly recommend coming to Camp Atterbury, and NRA did a very good job administering the match.”

Cole Shanholtz also repeated as Junior Champion with a score of 875.5270. Impressively, his performance placed him sixth overall in the Professional division.

The NRA World Shooting Championship stands out in the competitive shooting world by supplying all firearms, ammunition, optics and gear to participants. Spanning three days, the match featured 12 stages drawn from a variety of disciplines, including NRA America's Rifle Challenge, Air Pistol, Sporting Clays, Precision Rifle Series, IDPA, USPSA and more. Competitors are split into Professional and Amateur divisions, each with dedicated prize tables. This year, more than $250,000 in cash and prizes were awarded.

On the Amateur side, the winner was Daniel Perret with a score of 950.8606. In second place was Sean Pickel with 893.9411. Rounding out the Amateur division podium was Dennis Rhea in third place with a score of 882.4369.
