Real Avid had announced a tool for muzzleloader fans called the Breech Plug 4-in-1 scraper that will help them keep their inline muzzleloader ignitions functioning in good order.

Combining several key tools into one easy-to-carry unit, Real Avid’s new Breech Plug 4-in-1 scraper is described by the company as “compact for convenient pocket carry or small enough to add to your ‘possibles bag.’”

The Breech Plug 4-in-1 scraper includes two different scrapers for cleaning the screw-in breech plugs found on today’s in-line muzzleloaders, along with a 1.4-inch-long flash channel scraper to ensure primer ignition has unobstructed travel to the powder load. Additionally, the Breech Plug 4-in-1 scraper comes with a 1.3-inch-long wire that slides in and out of a protective tube to clean carbon build-up from inside the flash hole, similar to a traditional percussion cap nipple pick.

Plus, the high-impact handles come in bright orange, making the tool easy to locate if accidentally dropped in the field.

Much like the Real Avid 4-in-1 tool for Glock handguns, the new Breech Plug 4-in-1 scraper for muzzleloaders incorporates pushbutton mechanisms to deploy the individual tools while keeping the tools securely locked in the handle when not in use.
