Real Avid recently introduced the new Smart-Torq Adjustable Limiter, a compact tool for your gun bench that’s adjustable for any torque value between 15 and 65 inch-pounds.

The Smart-Torq Adjustable Limiter’s range covers the majority of scope mount, scope ring and action screw torque requirements. In addition, it will adjust down to one inch-pound increments.

More from Real Avid: “The Smart-Torq Adjustable Limiter is a precision-manufactured, precisely tuned inch-pound torque limiter developed specifically for firearm applications. The compact, sleek design stows neatly in the toolbox or on the work bench and is ergonomically designed to ensure a positive grip for securing even high-torque screws.”

Not only is the Smart-Torq Adjustable Limiter available as a standalone product, you can also find it as part of Real Avid’s new Smart-Torq Adjustable Limiter and X3 Driver Kit. This kit comes with the adjustable limiter, the new X3 Driver and an assortment of common driver bits, hex-to-square 1/4-inch adapter and a 1/2-inch socket. Real Avid’s X3 Driver is a modular unit that incorporates three driver systems (ratchet, T-handle and screwdriver). Additionally, the kit includes a compartmentalized hard plastic case that keeps all tools organized and secure at the work bench or the shooting bench.
