With a score of 187/200, Team Winchester and Team White Flyer shooter Eric Harvey topped the Main Event leaderboard at the 2024 NSCA North Central Regional held in Warrens, Wis., May 28 to Jun. 2. The match was the fourth event of the 2024 NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester.

Team Winchester and Team White Flyer shooter Eric Harvey was the Main Event Champion at the 2024 National Sporting Clays Association North Central Regional held at the Woods & Meadow Hunting Preserve in Warrens, Wisconsin, May 28 to June 2. The competition was one of the stops on the 2024 NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester.

Harvey walked away from the 2024 NSCA North Central Regional with a final score of 187 of 200 to win the Main Event title. For his Main Event High Over All victory, he earned a $3,500 payout.

In addition, two of Harvey’s Winchester and White Flyer teammates, Joe Fanizzi and Mike Wilgus, also posted wins at the 2024 NSCA North Central Regional. Fanizzi clinched the Junior Main Event title with a score of 185 of 200 (and third place overall), while Wilgus earned the Main Event Veteran title with a score of 181 of 200.

Harvey was shooting Winchester’s AA Super Handicap, 1⅛-ounce, 1,250 f.p.s. target load in the North Central Regional Main Event, which is one of the most popular rounds among competitive sport shooters.

With several other runner-up and third-place finishes in different events, Team Winchester continued its season-long streak of wins.

Team Winchester placements at the 2024 NSCA North Central Regional included:

  • Eric Harvey: Main Event Champion
  • Joe Fanizzi: Junior Main Event Champion, Main Event third place, FITASC Junior Champion
  • Zach Kienbaum: FITASC runner-up, Prelim runner-up, Five-Stand runner-up
  • Mike Wilgus: Veteran Main Event Champion, Veteran FITASC runner-up, Veteran Five-Stand Champion, True Pair runner-up, Veteran True Pair Champion
  • Desi Edmunds: Super Sporting Ladies Champion, Prelim Ladies Champion
  • Connor Daniels: Super Sporting Junior Champion, FITASC Junior runner-up, Five-Stand Junior runner-up

“The depth of talent on Team Winchester and Team White Flyer is on full display this season, consistently taking top honors against some of the best shooters in the world,” Jason Gilbertson, director of marketing for Winchester Ammunition said. “We congratulate all competitors at the North Central Regional and thank all staff and volunteers who helped run a smooth event.”

The NSCA North Central Regional was also one of the stops for the 2024 Winchester Ladies Cup. Below are the top three competitors from the match.

  • Champion: Karen Miles, 351 of 400
  • Runner-up: Savanna Barks, 348 of 400
  • Third place: Gianna Santo, 341 of 400

The 2024 NSCA North Central Regional marked the fourth event on the 2024 NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester. The U.S. Open is the next stop, scheduled for July 24-28. As for the season finale, it will be held this October in San Antonio, Texas, at the National Shooting Complex where a new National Champion and Winchester Ladies Cup Champion will be crowned.
