U.S. Fullbore Team Accepting Palma Captain Applications For 2024-2028 Cycle

The U.S. Fullbore Team is accepting applications for Palma Team Captain for the 2024-2028 cycle. Nominees have until May 2, 2024, to submit their applications.

The United States Fullbore Team is currently soliciting applications for a Palma Captain to manage the team during the 2024-2028 cycle. Each prospective Palma Captain nominee must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to travel internationally.

Each application must include the nominee’s complete name, address, telephone number(s) and email address. In addition, the nominee will be required to answer questions concerning experience, plan and methodologies. 

Interested applicants must obtain a “Proposal Template” by sending an email request to the United States National Rifle Team at [email protected].

The application timeline is as follows.

All applicants must submit their completed proposal by Thursday, May 2, 2024, before midnight (Phoenix time). There will be no exceptions.

The proposals will be reviewed on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the NRA Annual Meetings for completeness by the United States National Rifle Team Board of Directors.

The applicant’s names and their responses to the questions will be sent to eligible voters within the United States National Rifle Team Body on Monday, May 20, 2024. All votes must be cast before 10:00 Eastern Standard Time on Monday, June 3, 2024, using the “Election Buddy” application to assure the integrity of the election.

Those eligible voting members include United States National Rifle Team Body members in good standing who were on the U.S. Fullbore Team in the 2019 or 2024 TR LRWC, competed on the U.S. team in England or Canada in 2019, 2022 or 2023, or have shot in a minimum of five of the following matches conducted between 2019 and 2023:

  • Southwest Nationals
  • East Coast Fullbore Championship
  • Midwest Palma, CMP or NRA National Long-Range Matches
  • Spirit of America National Fullbore Championship

The results of the vote for the U.S. Fullbore Team Palma Team Captain will be announced on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
