Trigger manufacturer Timney Triggers is expanding the Calvin Elite trigger series with all-new models for the popular Ruger 10/22 rifle. (Model 1022CE: approx. $270)

The new Timney Calvin Elite replacement trigger for the 10/22 platform is a one-piece complete trigger assembly built from CNC machined 6061-T6 aircraft-grade billet aluminum. The trigger, sear, and hammer are made of heat-treated steel for durability.

This self-contained trigger is ready to install in your rifle with no additional gunsmithing required. The installation process is pushing out the two action pins and “dropping-in” the new trigger assembly. The trigger is set at two pounds from the factory. Additionally, there’s a Timney-designed extended magazine release that can be operated by one finger, and a standard auto bolt release.

The trigger comes with four different shoes: curved, flat, heeled and knurled. All of the shoes are adjustable for length of pull, cast and height. The tools for fitting and adjusting the shoes are included.
