EAA's latest competitive shooting handgun, the Girsan MC1911 Noel was designed with input from USPSA shooter Noel Zarza. This single-stack competition semi-automatic pistol is offered in both .45 ACP (8+1 capacity) and 9mm (10+1 capacity). MSRP: $1,075 for .45 ACP; $901 for 9mm.

The Girsan MC1911 Noel is built on a machined steel frame and slide with a matte nickel finish. Competitive shooting-friendly features include a 5-inch barrel, extended beavertail, ambidextrous safety and checking on the frame front and back grip. A skeletonized target trigger breaks at around 2.5 pounds. Additional features include a fully-adjustable rear target sight and textured laminated grips. The Noel 1911 has an overall length of 8.75 inches and weighs in at 2.55 pounds.

Noel Zarza is a retired Army officer who served as a company commander, combat trainer, and combat adviser to allied military forces, as well as the operations officer for a Special Forces unit during his last deployment to Afghanistan. He first took up competitive shooting back in 2013. He is scheduled to compete in at nine USPSA matches this season.
