Big news from the Winchester Ammunition and the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) partnership. Winchester, as the official ammunition of SCTP, has updated its ammunition packaging for Super-Target shotshells to include the SCTP logo. The new Super-Target boxes are now shipping to retailers and dealers nationwide. This new initiative should help build interest for SCTP and help support its mission to grow youth clay shooting sports.

Over the past few years, Winchester Ammunition has made substantial investments in SCTP, including maintaining a major presence at the SCTP Nationals at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, OH, and also a special ammunition purchase program for its teams.

SCTP has been one of the major success stories in competitive shooting over the last decade. Every year since its inception, the organization's matches, especially the aforementioned summer national championships in Ohio, have grown exponentially in both the number of teams and individual shooters. The new co-branded Super-Target packaging with Winchester, one of the oldest, most recognizable names in the shooting sports, is a great way to introduce SCTP competition to more potential clay shooters.
