2024 USA High Clay Target League National Championship Kicks Off July 10

At the 2024 USA High School Clay Target National Championship in Mason, Mich., Jul. 10-14, 3,000 student-athletes will compete in team and individual events.

Student-athletes and teams from 456 high schools located across to country will participate at the 2024 USA High School Clay Target League National Championship, held at the Michigan Trapshooting Association range in Mason, Michigan, July 10-14.

The USA High School Clay Target League National Championship is expected to have approximately 3,000 athletes participating in team and individual qualifying events, culminating in a final championship round to award the top 10 men and women individual student-athletes, along with the top five teams in the country.

More about the USA High School Clay Target League: There are 37,158 student-athletes representing 1,795 high school teams across the country that participated in USA Clay Target League programs this past spring. Only the top athletes and teams qualified to register for the National Championship, based on season averages at the completion of the spring season.

This year’s USA High School Clay Target League National Championship sponsors include Scheels, Friends of NRA, the U.S. Army, Winchester, Lansing Sports Commission, Ducks Unlimited, Bass Pro/Cabela’s Outdoor Fund, Walker’s, Do-All Outdoors, Mark Zauhar, Sportsman’s Guide, Guns.com, Spandau Arms and Strike Visuals.

Below is the schedule for the 2024 USA High Clay Target League National Championship.

  • Wednesday and Thursday, July 10-11: Check-in and Practice Days.
  • Friday, July 12: Team Championship Qualifier, with the top 80 of 260 teams that qualify to compete in Sunday's Team Championship Round.
  • Saturday, July 13: Individual Championship Qualifier, with the top 400 of 1,800 athletes that qualify to compete in Sunday's Individual Championship Round.
  • Sunday, July 14: Championship Rounds. Qualifying athletes and teams will compete for the title of 2024 USA High School Clay Tarot League National Champion.
