Four events, each worth 480 points for a total of 1920 points, comprise the Bianchi Cup championship aggregate. Those four are:

Event I: Practical. Shooters draw and fire on a pair of NRA AP-1 targets within a time limit that varies from three seconds (for one shot on each target) at seven yards to 15 seconds (for three shots per target) at 50 yards. Firing includes use of the unsupported weak hand for one string at 10 yards. 2019 Sponsor: SIG Sauer.

Event II: Barricade. Contestants draw and fire strings of six shots at an NRA AP-1 target, within a time limit that increases according to the increasing range, up to 35 yards. Shooting is done from the left- and right-hand sides of a barricade. 2019 Sponsor: Ruger.

Event III: Moving Target (Modified). An NRA AP-1 target is pulled across a 60-foot-wide opening both right to left and left to right, in six seconds per run. Shooters draw and fire at the moving target, six shots per run at 10 yards, three shots per run at 15 and 20 yards and two shots per run at 25 yards. 2019 Sponsor: Graf & Sons.

Event IV: Falling Plates. The Olin "Oli" C. Barjenbruch Falling Plate Event is essentially a rapid-fire silhouette match. (See Colt's Mark Redl shooting the Falling Plates in the photo at the top of this article.) The targets are eight-inch-diameter steel plates set atop four-foot-high steel racks. In competition, shooters draw and fire on a rack of plates, each of which must fall to be counted as a hit. Plates are scored hit or miss. 2019 Sponsor: Colt.

The 2019 NRA Bianchi Cup will be conducted May 22-24 at the Green Valley Rifle and Pistol Club in Hallsville, MO.
