Michigan-based optics manufacturer EOTECH expands its footprint with a new 67,000-square-foot headquarters and 22,000-square-foot manufacturing facility to keep up with growing demand from consumers for its products.

EOTECH’s hunt for new locations in Michigan led the company to Traverse City and Plymouth Township. Ideally situated within Michigan’s regional technology and manufacturing hub, both cities offer a talented labor pool and solid supplier access.

Says Dean Loebig, EOTECH chief technical and operations officer:

“The choice to move was clear. Both Traverse City and Plymouth welcomed EOTECH with open arms. Offering an economic development incentive proved these cities wanted our business, plus it’s a strategic place to base our operations.”

This past summer EOTECH’s new manufacturing facility was up and running at 2207 Traverse Field Road in Traverse City, Michigan. It includes a state-of-the-art, 22,000-square-foot building, while the new headquarters reaches an impressive 67,000 square feet. The new HQ building is located at 46900 Port Street in Plymouth, Michigan, and will be fully operational by the end of 2021.

In 2018, NRA Publications’ American Rifleman magazine honored EOTECH with the Golden Bullseye Optic of the Year award for the Vudu 1-6X 24 mm precision riflescope. The award came only two years after the introduction of the Vudu line of optics.

Last year, EOTECH officially separated from L3Harris, describing itself reborn again as an “agile, independent business that is focused on high-tech products and superior service.”
